Maintenance Mechanic; FDIC

EMCOR Government Services has an immediate need for Maintenance Mechanic in Arlington, VA
. This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99. #EGS

Mid-Senior level

• Conduct a routine assessment of the building systems operations
• Perform tests, tours and analyze data to assure the proper operation of building machinery
• Perform minor repairs, preventive maintenance and service requests on building equipment, machinery and components located in the interior or exterior of the building
• Perform maintenance on all plumbing in buildings including water and sanitation systems
• Perform snow removal
• Train Maintenance Helpers to increase their skills
• Assist Engineers
• Perform other duties as assigned

• 3–6 years’ experience in a commercial environment
• Current CFC Universal License
• 2 years EMS experience
• Must be able to work any shift assigned
• Must be able to work weekends
• Must be able to work overtime
• Must be able to work safely
• Must be a self-starter
• Must be willing to adhere to company policies

• Work requires an abundance of walking, bending, kneeling, and working in uncomfortable positions
