Job Title: Maintenance Helper (FDIC) – Washington, DC

Shift: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm (Regularly scheduled). Position covered by the CBA for Local 99.

• Conduct a routine assessment of the building systems operations.
• Perform tests, tours and analyze data to assure the proper operation of building machinery.
• Perform minor repairs, preventive maintenance and service requests on building equipment, machinery and components located in the interior or exterior of the building.
• Perform maintenance on all plumbing in buildings including water and sanitation systems.
• Assist Engineers.
• Perform snow removal.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to work any shift assigned.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Must be able to work overtime.
• Must be able to work safely.
• Must be a self‑starter.
• Must be willing to adhere to company policies.

• Work requires an abundance of walking, bending, kneeling, and working in uncomfortable positions.
