Operations Manager – Mid

Eagle Harbor Solutions LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an Operations Manager – Mid with a TS/SCI security clearance to support EHS and our government customer at the Pentagon, Arlington, VA.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties
  • Analyzing existing operational workflows, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Developing and implementing quality assurance programs, monitoring product or service quality, and ensuring adherence to established standards.
  • Providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to enhance team effectiveness and engagement.
  • Contributing to the development and execution of long-term operational strategies aligned with broader OUSD(R&E) goals.
  • Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance, analyzing data, and generating reports for senior management.
  • Identifying potential operational risks, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring business continuity.
  • Ensuring operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
  • Evaluating operational workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives using recognized methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Developing, implementing, and overseeing quality assurance programs to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality products or services.
  • Monitoring adherence to established quality metrics, conducting audits, and initiating corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintaining alignment with industry best practices and emerging standards.
  • Providing day-to-day operational leadership to cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
  • Delivering training, coaching, and professional development to support team capability and engagement.
  • Conducting performance evaluations, identifying skill gaps, and implementing improvement plans.
  • Supporting development and execution of long-term operational strategies aligned with broader OUSD(R&E) priorities and mission objectives.
  • Partnering with senior leadership to translate organizational goals into actionable operational plans.
  • Establishing and tracking KPIs, analyzing operational data, preparing reports, and presenting insights to senior management.
  • Using analytics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Identifying and assessing operational risks, vulnerabilities, and dependencies across processes and systems.
  • Developing and implementing mitigation plans to ensure operational resilience and continuity of operations.
  • Leading incident response and post-incident reviews to strengthen future readiness.
  • Ensuring all operations comply with applicable laws, regulations, federal guidance, and industry standards.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of compliance requirements and ensuring internal policies are followed.
  • Coordinating with compliance, legal, and audit stakeholders to address issues proactively.
  • Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of operational initiatives with organizational priorities.
  • Facilitating effective communication across teams and supporting collaboration on complex operational challenges.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a management or technical discipline (e.g., Science, Mathematics, or Engineering field) is required.
  • Four (4) years of specialized experience including military or industry executive assistant experience may be substituted in lieu of specific educational requirements.
  • Advanced program management education or certification is preferable.
  • Three (3) years of experience as an operations Manager.
  • TS/SCI eligibility.
