Our Operations Practice focused on the financial services industry is growing quickly and is looking to bring on a senior operations consulting professional with depth in the financial services industry to help lead this exciting practice.

Our Operations Director will leverage their experience to lead financial services sector clients in the execution of operations transformation consulting. The Director is responsible for growing our existing Operations practice through sourcing new client projects, providing subject matter expertise to client engagements and developing a strong practice foundation which includes the development of our team. This role will be involved in all aspects of the sale and delivery of client services.

Our team of financial services operations professionals assists our clients in transforming their operations.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead client project teams, share individual subject matter expertise and be a primary liaison to our clients
  • Utilize depth of experience in the financial services industry, consulting and business operations to continue to grow and develop the Operations Practice
  • Bring a strong network and subject matter depth within the financial services network to enhance our brand and expand our client footprint.
  • Leads various operations transformation client projects including (but not limited to): business operation assessment, operating model design, process redesign, project managing transformation efforts, change management, system selection and system change.
  • Conduct analyses of our client's business operations, operating models, processes, applications, and infrastructure and formulate recommendations and roadmaps to improve our client's operational functions.
  • Build trusted relationships with financial services clients and work internally across Clarendon Partners operations transformation advisory teams to help bring our clients the most comprehensive, end-to-end services to effectively address their business challenges.
  • Bring strong analytical and communication skills (written as well as verbal). Consistently deliver quality client services. Monitor progress, manage risk, and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
  • Manage, mentor, and coach other consultants and perform quality control reviews of staff work before delivery to client.
  • Enable change through a proactive and entrepreneurial spirit.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Prior experience leading an operational transformation offering in professional services, preferably at a large, global management consulting firm. Depth in financial services clients required.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to foster an environment of collaboration and excellence
  • Ability to grow a practice through: sourcing new project opportunities, expanding existing and new clients, practice development and team mentoring.
  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience performing operations transformation activities for the financial services industry to include: business operation assessment, operating model design, process redesign, project managing transformation efforts, change management, system selection and system change.
  • Prior experience performing operations transformation activities within the financial services industry (for financial services clients or as an internal financial services operations leader)
  • Financial services industry operations transformation services acumen with a strong understanding of business processes, as well as information systems.
  • Consistent success in building and developing strong client relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to think from a “big picture” perspective.
  • Creativity, confidence, and flexibility.
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Ability to manage various deadline projects/tasks.
EDUCATION
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Accounting, or other technical discipline
