Job Description

Prime Response, Inc. (PRI) is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to provide on-site leadership and oversight of all logistics and warehouse operations at a large Federal facility in Arlington, VA / Washington, DC. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising personnel, managing day-to-day warehouse operations, and ensuring all logistical services are executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with mission requirements.

This position requires strong leadership, technical awareness of warehouse and logistics operations, and the ability to proactively identify and resolve operational issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, direction, and task allocation to warehouse personnel to ensure timely and accurate completion of all assigned duties.
  • Maintain a continuous on-site presence to oversee all logistical services performed.
  • Supervise and manage personnel performance, workload distribution, and daily task execution.
  • Monitor warehouse operations to identify developing technical or operational issues and initiate corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage and oversee material handling, receiving, storage, inventory control, and distribution activities.
  • Operate and supervise the use of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including forklifts and pallet jacks, as required.
  • Analyze existing and anticipated customer requirements and provide practical, mission-focused technical solutions.
  • Ensure warehouse processes and workflows are integrated, efficient, and aligned with customer and mission objectives.
  • Track, manage, and close action items to completion.
  • Enforce safety standards, housekeeping requirements, and compliance with applicable procedures and regulations.
Requirements
  • Mi
    nimum of ten (10) years of warehouse and/or logistics experience
    , including support of large-scale operations or projects
  • Demonstrated experience managing warehouse operations with significant workload volume, competing priorities, and time-sensitive deliverables
  • Proven experience working directly with senior leadership, government customers, or executive stakeholders to deliver highly professional logistics services
  • Strong background in managing personnel, workload distribution, and operational processes in a warehouse or logistics environm ent
  • Experience working with government or commercial property databases (e.g., DPAS)
  • Experience with crafting professional customer focused communications
  • Experience operating and supervising Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
  • Proven ability to manage people, processes, and action items simultaneously
  • Strong working knowledge of warehouse and logistics operations
  • Ability to recognize operational or technical issues and take corrective action
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Fluent in spoken and written English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting government or mission-driven logistics operations
  • Experience overseeing receiving, distribution, and warehouse operations in similar environment
