Position: Facilities Coordinator (Future Contract Opportunity)

Job Summary

Talent Wise LLC is building a pipeline of facilities and operations professionals to support anticipated government contract awards with Arlington County, VA.

The Facilities Coordinator manages the day‑to‑day operations of assigned facilities to ensure buildings are safe, functional, and compliant with applicable standards. This role serves as the primary point of contact for facility operations, overseeing maintenance, vendor contracts, security, and space utilization.

The position also supports facility‑related projects, including renovations, construction coordination, and event logistics, while ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations of assigned facilities, ensuring functionality, safety, and compliance
  • Coordinate maintenance, custodial services, repairs, and vendor activities
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with building regulations, safety standards, and contractual obligations
  • Conduct facility inspections and coordinate corrective actions for identified issues
  • Respond to building emergencies (e.g., power outages, leaks) and coordinate resolution efforts
  • Manage work orders and maintenance schedules
  • Coordinate facility use for events, including setup, access, and security arrangements
  • Oversee building security operations, access control systems, and safety procedures
  • Manage parking operations and resolve facility‑related issues
  • Coordinate and support renovation and construction projects, including vendor and contractor oversight
  • Assist with project planning, cost estimates, and progress monitoring
  • Serve as liaison between facility users, contractors, and internal departments
  • Address customer service requests and resolve facility‑related concerns
  • Provide input on budgeting and capital improvement planning
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent coursework in Business, Facilities Management, Property Management, or related field
  • Experience in facilities management, building operations, or lease management
  • Knowledge of building maintenance, safety standards, and facility operations
  • Familiarity with project management principles and vendor coordination
  • Strong problem‑solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to emergencies
  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
  • Proficiency with computer systems and facility management tools
