Siemens Government Technologies (SGT) is seeking an Services Project Manager Associate to support the execution of U.S. Navy Control Systems projects. Working under the direction of a Project Manager or Program Manager, the Associate Project Manager will coordinate schedules, contractual deliverables, financial reporting, risks, actions, procurement activities, and cross-functional project execution.

The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, operations, quality, contracts, procurement, finance, subcontractors, and government customers to support the on-time delivery of hardware, technical documentation, testing, and other contractual milestones. As experience and performance develop, the Associate Project Manager may independently lead defined work packages or projects of limited size and complexity.

This position is well suited for an organized, accountable professional who can convert complex project information into clear priorities, maintain disciplined follow-through, and communicate emerging issues before they affect cost, schedule, scope, quality, or customer commitments.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain project schedules aligned with contractual milestones, engineering releases, material need dates, product testing, production, shipment, installation, and customer acceptance activities.
  • Track contractual deliverables, customer comments, action items, decisions, and due dates through documented closure.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, status reports, dashboards, decision log records, and customer-facing presentations.
  • Coordinate activities across engineering, operations, quality, procurement, contracts, finance, services administration, and subcontractors to support on-time project execution.
  • Maintain project risk, issue, opportunity, and change-control registers; identify emerging concerns and elevate them with recommended corrective actions.
  • Support the Project or Program Manager in reviewing contractual requirements, scope, assumptions, acceptance criteria, and customer commitments.
  • Support monthly project controls activities, including actual-cost review, estimate-to-complete updates, forecasting, billing, and revenue recognition.
  • Monitor purchase orders, supplier deliverables, material status, and subcontractor commitments; communicate potential impacts to the integrated project schedule.
  • Support document control, configuration-management activities, testing readiness, acceptance, project handover, and closeout.
  • Coordinate customer and internal meetings, establish appropriate communication rhythms, and ensure that commitments and decisions are accurately documented.
  • Lead assigned work packages or smaller projects under the guidance of a Project or Program Manager, including schedule, cost, scope, quality, risk, and customer communication responsibilities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project execution, reduce avoidable cost, and strengthen customer value realization.
  • Identify additional opportunities out of the ongoing project and submit those to the Program- and/or Engagement Management.
  • Define and align the project roles and responsibilities with the customer.
  • Assist in managing stakeholder expectations with the Sales Account Manager.
  • Manage and resolve project related issues with all necessary internal and external partners.
  • Assist the Program and Resource Manager to set up the project team.
  • Willing and able to travel to appropriate work locations, as required by SGT.
