Project Manager, Forensics and Investigations

Work You'll Do As a Project Manager, Forensics and Investigations, on the project, you will:
- Project Delivery & Team Leadership
- Own end-to-end delivery of sanctions investigation work streams, ensuring outputs meet client deadlines, quality standards, and evidentiary requirements.
- Manage and mentor a team of junior and senior staff, assigning work, reviewing analytical products, providing real-time coaching, and conducting formal performance evaluations.
- Set clear expectations for team output quality, provide direct and constructive feedback, and cultivate a high-performance culture grounded in accuracy and accountability.
- Anticipate project risks - including resourcing gaps, scope changes, or inter-agency delays - and develop and execute mitigation strategies proactively.
- Serve as the primary point of escalation for team members encountering complex or ambiguous analytical challenges.
- Sanctions Investigations & Intelligence Analysis
- Lead and oversee the full lifecycle of sanctions investigations, from initial intelligence collection and open-source research through drafting designation packages and adjudicating the clearance process.
- Review and approve evidentiary memoranda, designation packages, and analytical assessments drafted by the team, ensuring logical rigor, factual accuracy, and adherence to applicable legal authorities.
- Perform and guide complex open-source intelligence (OSINT), classified intelligence analysis, commercial database research, and corporate and financial record review.
- Direct supply chain mapping, corporate structure analysis, and impact assessments across regions, industries, and economies.
- Identify patterns, anomalies, and connections across large and disparate data sets to inform designation recommendations and support client decision-making.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the senior day-to-day client contact, building trusted relationships with government clients and understanding their mission priorities and program objectives.
- Coordinate seamlessly with multiple federal government agencies and Intelligence Community partners, facilitating information sharing and alignment across stakeholders.
- Present findings, status updates, and recommendations clearly and confidently to senior government officials and inter-agency working groups.
- Translate ambiguous or evolving client requirements into clear analytical tasks and delivery plans for the team.
- Quality & Process Management
- Establish and enforce quality control processes for all team deliverables, including multi-stage review protocols for designation packages and analytical memoranda.
- Monitor project milestones, track team productivity, and report progress against commitments to Deloitte leadership and the client.
- Identify opportunities to improve analytical workflows, tool usage, and team efficiency over the life of the project.
- Ensure all team activities comply with applicable legal authorities, classification requirements, and government security protocols.
