Location:

South Chesterfield

This position is responsible for spot welding shelves to join steel parts for use in the assembly process.

• Operate resistance welder, robotic welder, MIG and/or TIG welding.
• Basic understanding of spot welding, computer programs for setup of machine and tips used to spot weld.
• Identify proper tools for spot welding fixtures on shelves. (Stainless to GU)
• Ability to read and comprehend all work orders and blueprints.
• Perform preventative maintenance on spot weld machines.
• Ability to communicate status of assigned projects to supervisors.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Previous Buffing experience required.
• Must be able to operate power tools and perform tasks that require fine motor skills (ex: threading nuts onto bolts, starting a screw, etc.).

• May be required to perform specific tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, or kneeling.
• Must be able to lift with or without mechanical aids on a recurring basis (up to 50 lbs.).
• Work is performed within a production environment, subject to temperature variations, hazardous chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noise levels and dust.
