What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a Team Lead who will manage a manufacturing team, coordinate activities of department workers, and drive continuous improvement and safety excellence in our Frames operations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct manufacturing teams.
  • Apply SQDC (Safety-Quality-Delivery-Cost) principles and Lean practices.
  • Conduct daily huddle meetings focused on area performance.
  • Lead sustainability of continuous improvement by implementing Standard Work, Built-in-Quality, and small lot presentation to the line.
  • Interpret and enforce company policies and safety regulations.
  • Recommend and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
  • Lead group problem‑solving teams and facilitate PDCA cycles.
  • Perform backup activities for group workers as needed.
  • Maintain efficiency levels to meet AOP (Annual Operating Plan) targets.
  • Prepare and execute daily start‑up plans.
  • Update and maintain cross‑functional training matrix.
  • Ensure hourly performance boards are up to date, including variance causes and visual displays.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineering to ensure on‑time delivery to customers and internal departments via Kaizen processes.
  • Lead daily Kaizen activities and document outcomes.
  • Conduct continuous level load scheduling.
  • Coordinate material scheduling and kitting to avoid line shortages.
  • Maintain 6S standards and Operator PM checklists.
  • Serve as absenteeism representative.
  • Implement and sustain Standard Work procedures, Visual Boards, and controls.
Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Over 3 years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with AS400.
