Job Overview

Senior Technical Program Manager – Leo (Satellite Manufacturing). This role leads end‑to‑end production program management for the Leo satellite constellation, covering planning, manufacturing, integration, test, and production value streams. Responsibilities include driving execution across supply chain, planning, fulfillment, and production teams, developing data models and tools, monitoring KPIs, and ensuring high‑quality, cost‑effective manufacturing processes. The position requires strong stakeholder management, analytical skills, and the ability to translate strategic goals into actionable plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the production roadmap for production value streams, linking it to annual goals and objectives.
  • Drive daily execution and coordinate with supply chain, planning, fulfillment and production teams.
  • Represent the production roadmap in assessing technical trade‑offs related to innovation, speed, manufacturability, cost, stability and trust.
  • Translate strategic goals into actionable plans for specific projects and operations.
  • Synchronize milestones, identify constraints, and unblock initiatives to deliver on the roadmap.
  • Create tools and business processes that simplify, standardize and enable operational excellence across the entire production value stream.
  • Own operational rhythms for all production teams and develop mitigation strategies for potential production risks.
  • Support the development and execution of Production Rate Ramp roadmaps and scalable, standardized approaches to meet demand and enable growth.
  • Maintain executive communication cadence, deliver insights on activities, accomplishments, challenges and risks to senior leadership.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends, issues and opportunities for improvement, and support implementation training on new processes.
  • Drive year‑over‑year optimization opportunities in all operational areas.
  • Provide feedback to technical teams on cost‑inefficient or scaling‑detrimental approaches, and advise production directors and senior managers on technology and execution decisions.
  • Unblock production teams, negotiate resources and priorities across technology stakeholders, and ensure effective communication of changes and improvements.
  • Perform internal audits to assess adherence to procedures, systems and standards.
Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of technical product or program management experience.
  • 3+ years of project management experience covering scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk and critical‑path management.
  • Experience managing technical programs across cross‑functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
  • 3+ years of analytical, quantitative, communication and presentation experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or Associate’s degree (or higher).
  • 4+ years delivering cross‑functional projects.
  • Experience in manufacturing, process, or industrial engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of data analysis using Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau or equivalent.
  • Experience leading and defining requirements and driving these across diverse organizations.
  • 5+ years of experience driving process improvements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience managing multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience influencing senior‑level stakeholders.
  • Experience in program or project management with cross‑functional delivery.
  • Experience with Lean/Six Sigma.
