Welder​/Fitter in Arlington

Hiring Bonus: $1000 after successful completion of 120 days and an acceptable attendance record

ABW is seeking intermediate to experienced aluminum and stainless steel TIG Fitter/Welders who take pride in producing quality fabricated parts and meeting or exceeding customer requirements and schedules.

Read and understand shop drawings, tolerances, and welding procedures. Fit and weld components in accordance with weld procedures, accounting for weld shrinkage, with minimal supervision. Participate in in-house testing and certification with all fit-up and welds inspected by in-house and/or customer CWI's.

Minimum 3 years of TIG welding experience (required). ASME pressure vessel / tank manufacturing experience, familiarity with nozzle schedules, weld maps, flux core, and submerged arc welding are beneficial.

Day Shift: Work four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, 6 am – 4:30 pm. Overtime as required. Swing Shift also accepted.

Regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Requires close vision and depth perception.
