Technical Management Scientist/Engineer
The Technical Management Scientist/Engineer will provide project management support to program managers at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), helping to oversee the creation and execution of advanced government-funded research and development programs. You'll work with world-class scientists and engineers to drive progress towards program goals and metrics that will enable mission success. You will assist with managing current programs, maintaining program organization, and facilitating the transition of program technologies.
The ideal candidate will not only have experience in one or more technical areas but will also have experience in managing the execution of technical projects and programs.
What You Will Need:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an active "SECRET" or higher-level clearance are preferred.
- Bachelor's degree
- Three (3) or more years' of experience with program or project management in a professional working environment, including but not limited to:
- Experience working in and/or familiarity with STEM disciplines
- Demonstrated experience coordinating and organizing multiple projects and teams in a dynamic environment
- Ability to be part of a team with a national impact on science and technology development
- Ability to be team-oriented and integrate easily into a team with diverse technical backgrounds and expertise
- Ability to be a self-starter, take the lead, and provide support in a team role within a complex, fast-paced, and cross-disciplinary work environment
