Registered Nurse

We are seeking a strong cardiac tele/stepdown nurse. The nurse will be responsible for caring for cardiac surgery patients after intensive care. Experience in managing chest tubes and dysrhythmias is essential. Nurses should have a solid background in cardiac telemetry. Schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts with every other weekend required. The start date will depend on EPIC experience and training schedule.

BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Applicants must have an active VA or Compact license upon submission. The role may require a flu vaccine during the flu season. Qualified candidates will participate in either an accelerated or a two-day EPIC class. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are necessary.
