Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

ASAP!! Contract Length: 26 Weeks Pay Rate: $38/hour

Schedule:

Rotating 36/48 hours Days: 7AM-7:30PM Nights: 7PM-7:30AM

We are seeking an experienced Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide medical care and emergency nursing services to adult and juvenile populations within a correctional setting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a structured, secure environment while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Corrections experience required or 2+ years of experience in SNF, LTC, or Psych
• Current CPR certification
• Current TB screening (PPD, questionnaire, or chest X-ray)
• Current health certificate (if applicable)
• Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Week 1:
  Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
• Week 2:
  Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday

• Provide routine and emergency nursing care to incarcerated individuals
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and assess patient health conditions
• Respond to medical emergencies and urgent care situations
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
• Follow all facility safety, security, and infection-control protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and correctional personnel

• 26-week assignment
