Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and clinically skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a growing Interventional Radiology team. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside Interventional Radiologists in providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for patients undergoing minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
The ideal candidate will participate in patient evaluation, peri-procedural management, follow-up care, consultations, and multidisciplinary collaboration while supporting a high-quality, patient-centered practice.

- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, medical histories, and physical examinations.
- Evaluate and prepare patients before Interventional Radiology procedures.
- Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations and follow-up care.
- Manage peri-procedural and post-procedural patient care.
- Round on hospitalized patients and coordinate ongoing treatment plans.
- Order, interpret, and review laboratory and diagnostic studies.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures, treatment plans, and recovery expectations.
- Coordinate continuity of care and transitions across service lines.
- Perform procedures within scope of practice and credentialing requirements.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, protocol development, and program growth.
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Board Certified as AGACNP, FNP, or ANP
. - Active Virginia Nurse Practitioner License (or eligibility to obtain).
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- NCCPA Certification required.
- Active Virginia Physician Assistant License (or eligibility to obtain).
