Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery
Seeking a Registered Nurse in the Labor and Delivery specialty. This position operates on a night shift schedule. The nurse will care for patients in a high-risk environment. The facility has 16 labor rooms, 6 triage rooms, and 6 antepartum rooms. A level 3 NICU is available for neonatal care. Patient care includes those with conditions such as Preeclampsia, GDM, PPROM, and multiple pregnancies.
The nurse will be involved in the triage of obstetrical patients. Scheduled C-sections and most additional cases are handled during the day by an OR team. Reliable 24/7 in-house anesthesia support is provided. External cephalic versions are performed during daytime hours. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:2. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. Travelers are accepted for this role. The work environment encourages collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
Episcopal training requirements apply for all candidates. The facility maintains a smoke-free and nicotine-free policy. Submissions should demonstrate compliance with all qualifications and requirements.
