Job Description:
Join a reputable cardiac stepdown unit in Arlington, VA, for a 13-week travel contract as a Stepdown Cardiac Registered Nurse. In this role, you’ll manage post-surgical cardiac patients transitioning from ICU, with responsibilities including monitoring chest tubes and addressing dysrhythmias. The work involves rotating day and night schedules on a 4×12-hour shift pattern, every other weekend, providing a steady rhythm to your work and personal life.
This assignment offers hands‑on experience with cardiovascular patient management, especially for those comfortable working with telemetry and CVSD patients. The unit’s fast‑paced environment demands clinical expertise and confidence in handling complex cardiac cases.
