American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab Circulator RN requiring VA or compact RN licensure and prior RLHC/PCI, peripheral, and EP circulating experience.
Details- Work in the Cath Lab as a circulating RN
- 13-week contract assignment
- Day shift options of 4x10-hour ) or 3x12-hour ) based on staffing needs
- Uses Epic (CUPID Cath) as the charting system
- Call requirements of 2-3 shifts per week including long and short call
- Approximately 2 call weekends within a 6-week period
- Short call during the week runs as backup unless cases are still running
- Short call on weekends is backup coverage from Saturday and Sunday
- Long call is overnight emergency coverage from with a required onsite response time of 30 minutes or less
- Long call weekend coverage begins Friday at 1730 through Sunday at 0700, with the weekend call team responding to both emergent and non-emergent cases
- Floating may be required in rotation with regular staff per facility policy
- Active VA or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
- Prior experience as a Cath Lab Circulator with RLHC/PCI, peripheral, and EP circulating experience required
- Must reside within 30 miles or 30 minutes of the facility for on-call eligibility
- Epic experience preferred, with training class attendance required unless recently on assignment at the facility within the past 6 months
- Facility provides scrubs
- Flu vaccination required during flu season (October 1 - March 31), with exemption requests subject to CMS guideline compliance
- COVID vaccination or qualified exemption required, with exemption requests subject to CMS guideline compliance
- Smoke/nicotine-free facility
- Previous staff members must wait one year before returning as a traveler
- RTO requests should be minimal and submitted upfront, with approval at manager discretion
- Holiday coverage should be expected during the assignment
- Up to 7 hours of non-billable orientation modules required, completed during onboarding
