Role Overview

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Medication Nurse provides essential licensed nursing support in a senior living environment, focusing on safe medication administration, health monitoring, and accurate clinical documentation.

• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Document accurately in MAR/TAR in real-time
• Monitor residents for symptoms, adverse reactions, and health changes
• Support care plan updates by transcribing physician orders
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes
• Maintain medication carts, conduct narcotic counts, and ensure compliance with regulations
• Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs)

• Active LPN license in good standing
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong assessment, documentation, and clinical skills
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred

You will play a vital role in safeguarding resident safety, preventing medication errors, and identifying health issues early through clinical precision and regulatory adherence. The role emphasizes compassionate care and attention to detail in a supportive senior living environment.
