Veterinary Assistant

NOVA Cat Clinic is looking to add a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Assistant to our team. At our Rarebreed clinic, you can help reimagine the veterinary experience in your community. We are an established feline‑only hospital that proudly offers our patients the gold‑standard of medical and surgical care. Our practice has also been certified by the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP) as a Gold Cat Friendly Practice. This certification signifies that our clinic has achieved a higher standard of commitment to feline‑specific care. As a cohesive team of veterinary professionals, we are lifelong learners equipped with the knowledge, skills, and resources to deliver the highest quality of care.

• Executing treatment orders
• Performing blood draws
• Keeping cages clean and sanitized
• Walking, feeding, and picking up after the animals
• Various housekeeping duties (laundry, dishes, taking out garbage etc.)
• Communicating with clients via phone and in‑person
• Restraining animals
• Outpatient procedures
• Filling prescribed medications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in an animal hospital preferred but not required
