About Fur-Get Me Not:
Since 2000, Fur-Get Me Not has been more than just a pet care provider—we’re a family. As a family‑owned business, we pride ourselves on a “team‑first” culture where every member is supported. We thrive on building lasting relationships with our clients and their furry family members.
The Role:We are seeking a “people person” who is also an “animal person”. This isn’t just sitting behind a desk; you are the heartbeat of our facility. You’ll be the first face customers see, the voice they hear on the phone, and—occasionally—the hero who steps in to help our field team when a pet sitter needs a hand.
Our office team manages the relationship with our daycare, dog training, and our dog walking and pet sitting customers and supports our field team of pet sitters and dog walkers. Weekday shifts typically start at 7 am or end at 7 pm. Weekend shifts are 8 am–5 pm. You will be on a regular weekly schedule, not one that changes week to week.
What You’ll Do:- Customer
Experience:
Greet pet parents, manage check‑ins/outs, and use your sales savvy to recommend and match our services to customer needs. Help promote upcoming classes and events in our lobby. - Dog Handling: Safely escort dogs of all sizes from the lobby to their playgroups. You’ll get plenty of “paws‑on” time!
- Operations & Coordination: Manage the schedule for our dog walkers and pet sitters. Respond to customer reservation requests and fill those requests by working with our field team.
- Field Support: Troubleshoot any issues that arise while your teammates are conducting the visits. You’ll occasionally travel to client homes to resolve issues or fill in for a visit.
- Experience: 1–2 years in customer service in a fast‑paced environment.
- Communication: You’re a pro at email and phone etiquette but shine even brighter in person.
- Organization: You can juggle a ringing phone, a barking dog, and a customer question without breaking a sweat.
- Reliability: You have a dependable car and a valid driver’s license for field visits.
- Supportive Environment: We’re a small business where your voice is heard.
- Perks: 401(k) with company matching, employee discounts on all services, and (the best part) working around dogs every day.
