Creature Comfort Animal Clinic Externship

Creature Comfort Animal Clinic offers up to a $2,500 travel stipend for Clinical Year Externships. We are a 4‑doctor practice passionate about building relationships with clients and teammates. Our clinic sees companion animals primarily, but also treats pocket pets and exotics with two dedicated exotic specialists.

• Work closely with the supervising veterinarian to gather patient histories and perform physical exams.
• Participate in creating treatment plans and performing diagnostic imaging and dentistry services.
• Observe, assist, or perform surgical procedures as needed.
• Manage the medical care of patients and practice communication skills with the medical team, support staff, and clients.
• Complete externship experiences ranging from two to eight weeks based on student and hospital schedules.

Eligible applicants are 4th‑year veterinary students in the clinical portion of their education.

Students receive a travel and living expense stipend up to $2,500 during the externship. For a list of stipend amounts and detailed program information, refer to the clinic’s stipend guide.
