Evaluation Objective

SI is conducting a mixed methods endline evaluation of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Benin Off-Grid Energy Access Project.

SI is seeking an in-country Beninese Logistician/Notetaker to support the implementation, logistics, and qualitative interviews for the endline evaluation in July 2026. This is a short‑term consultancy opportunity.

This is a local position. Only candidates with Benin citizenship or permanent residency will be considered.

• Facilitate in‑country communications and interview requests with relevant stakeholders.
• Review relevant program documentation.
• Review endline questionnaires including providing country‑specific context and translation.
• Support the lead qualitative researcher through note taking during in‑person interviews in Cotonou.

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of three years of experience in research and evaluation.
• Experience working with or discussing technical issues with government officials or international donors.
• Preferred experience conducting research in the energy sector.
• Fluency in French required; working proficiency in English preferred.
