STGIIS IN AN ACTIVE BIDDING PROCESS FOR THIS POSITION AND POSITION AVAILABILITY IS CONTINGENT UPON STGIBEING AWARDED THE CONTRACT.

Responsibilities
  • Co-lead the development, implementation and assessment of qualitative research components of the project (e.g., focus groups)
  • Support the coordination and implementation of research projects, data collection, and the management of data generated by study protocols, while working collaboratively with a diverse team
  • Help with the disseminating the project’s success
  • Disseminate information to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with staff to collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to perform summative and formative evaluation on a continuous basis
  • Participate in weekly meetings with the team to monitor and provide feedback regarding the progress of the development and implementation of the project
  • Review of project materials and data collection instruments, and report writing
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in educational psychology, higher education, or related fields (Preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D.)
  • Experience helping with research projects with underrepresented populations
  • Strong communication skills
  • Research experience and/or coursework in qualitative research methods
  • Experience using qualitative research software (e.g., Atlas TI, Nvivo)
  • Experience in collaborating with other researchers on research projects
  • Must be team-oriented and demonstrate collaborative working skills
  • Preference given on candidates who have experience in helping with program evaluation (mixed methods preferred) projects
Required Skills

Masters (Ph.D. preferred). Qualitative research experience, particularly with focus-group research. Expertise with qualitative (e.g., Atlas TI) and quantitative (e.g., SPSS, R) research software
