Job OverviewAs a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase your organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and act as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels, as well as support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed. On occasion you may work with other products from other companies in the stores you service.
Salaryand Schedule Details
- Your starting pay will be $15.00 – $17.00 depending on your skills and experience.
- Eligible Employees receive annual pay increases.
- This is a Part‑Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
- Average weekly hours are between 8 – 12 hours per week.
- Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
- Restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department using a mobile device.
- Provide professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers.
- Support holiday operations with additional days and extended hours during key holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
- Participate in department resets, installations, and fixture relocations, often notified two weeks in advance.
- Collaborate with the Hallmark field organization to support other team members as needed.
This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and a sense of urgency. You must be able to consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the workday and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You will also be required to kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout your workday, and may be required to climb stairs and step ladders.
BasicQualifications
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Physically able to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Proficient at operating a digital hand‑held device for documents and information.
- Access to Wi‑Fi and the internet.
- Access to reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
