This is a part-time, on-site Sales Associate role based in Arlington, VA. The Sales Associate will welcome customers, assess their needs, and provide personalized product recommendations that reflect Lacoste’s heritage and style. Responsibilities include maintaining visual merchandising standards, restocking and organizing inventory, processing sales transactions accurately, and handling exchanges and returns in line with company policies. The role also involves supporting store events, contributing to sales targets, and ensuring a clean, safe, and inviting store environment.
The Sales Associate will collaborate closely with store leadership and team members to deliver an exceptional and inclusive customer experience.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse customers and build lasting relationships.
- Sales and retail experience, including basic knowledge of point-of-sale systems, cash handling, and meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Interest in fashion, sport-inspired style, and brand storytelling, with a keen eye for styling and visual presentation.
- Reliable time management and organizational skills, including the ability to work flexible hours such as evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented retail environment.
- Clear and professional communication skills in English; additional language skills are a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, move throughout the store, and lift or carry merchandise as needed.
- Previous retail or customer-facing experience preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is beneficial.
