Job Summary:
As a member of Management, you will be the heartbeat of our store, responsible for managing daily operations, inspiring a high-performance team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You’ll shape the store’s success and contribute to our company’s growth.
- Leadership & Team Management:
Recruit, train, and develop a motivated team. Foster a positive work environment, set clear goals, and provide ongoing feedback to ensure top performance. - Customer
Experience:
Create an exceptional shopping experience by addressing customer needs, resolving issues, and ensuring high standards of customer service. - Sales & Performance:
Drive store sales and profitability through effective merchandise management, promotional strategies, and achieving sales targets. - Operational Excellence:
Oversee daily operations including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations. - Financial Management:
Manage store budgets, control expenses, and analyze sales data to optimize performance and drive revenue growth. - Marketing & Community Engagement:
Implement local marketing initiatives and build strong relationships with the community to enhance brand presence and attract new customers. - Innovation & Problem-Solving:
Stay current with industry trends and competitor activities. Identify opportunities for improvement and implement innovative solutions to enhance store operations. - Additional duties and projects as required.
- Experience:
Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or similar role, with a track record of achieving sales targets and managing a team. - Leadership
Skills:
Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. - Customer-Centric: A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
- Analytical
Skills:
Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data‑driven decisions. - Flexibility:
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed. - Tech‑Savvy:
Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications. - Availability:
Open during store operating hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays; minimum of five days per week with an average standard work week of approximately 44 hours, increasing during peak sales periods.
- Requires prolonged standing approximately 5 to 14 hours per day.
- During peak sale periods, may work long periods throughout a 10 to 12‑hour day.
- Requires stooping, kneeling, and reaching to place merchandise and stock items on storage racks.
- May require climbing ladders or ascending/descending stairs to stock and/or acquire merchandise for sale.
- Must lift items weighing 5 to 25 lbs regularly; weights may be higher in certain circumstances.
- Must have good vision, including color differentiation.
- Work environment is moderately noisy retail setting.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent; 2+ years’ experience in retail leadership strongly preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
