• Conduct makeup applications, skincare analyses, and recommend products based on customers’ beauty goals.
• Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers.
• Set and achieve sales goals for both in‑store and digital selling using effective selling tools, including text and social media.
• Book appointments and drive sales for in‑store Beauty events and services.
• Keep the department customer‑ready through organization and cleanliness.
• Stay current on the latest beauty trends, products, and industry knowledge through training provided by Nordstrom and brand partners.
• Manage sales, refunds, exchanges, and build customer loyalty by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts.

Continuous movement for 6‑8 hours per shift, frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching. Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling. Handle bulky and awkwardly shaped items, lifting up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds occasionally.

$20.45 – $21.25 hourly. Commission for apparel, shoes, and accessories sales typically ranges from 3% to 14.5%. Beauty and Men’s Fragrance sales positions typically receive 3% commission.
