The RoleYou will lead the front desk team, taking on the high‑profile role of concierge and setting new standards for quality and resident experience. The position is scheduled from 3:00pm to 11:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays. It serves as a great supplement to other work and offers experience in the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities- Monitor foot traffic and provide top‑notch customer service.
- Implement programs to address resident satisfaction while maintaining company service standards.
- Serve as a point of contact, offering assistance, information, and personalized recommendations.
- Partner with leasing and maintenance teams to create a great experience for prospects, move‑in/move‑out processes, and current residents, making Avalon Bay feel like home.
- Manage front desk operations on Saturdays and Sundays from 3pm to 11pm.
- High school diploma or equivalency (GED) required.
- 1+ year of related experience in hotel, retail or restaurant preferred.
- Proficiency in administrative software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Physical ability to walk the property and maneuver packages and deliveries.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to see a task through to completion.
- Excellent communication skills, both in‑person and over the phone, with well‑developed writing and speaking abilities.
- Strong time‑management skills, juggling multiple tasks while maintaining composure and positivity.
- Patience and poise when dealing with residents, vendors, and prospects.
- Organizational ability to manage phone messages, resident packages, and maintenance requests efficiently.
