The OpportunityAUVSI is hiring a Senior Sales Manager to help drive revenue growth across our portfolio of membership, events, exhibits, sponsor ships, advertising, and subscription products.
This role is built for someone who loves the thrill of the deal and knows how to connect value to real business goals. You will own the full sales cycle, build and expand relationships across the autonomy and robotics ecosystem, and create custom packages that deliver impact for customers and measurable results for AUVSI.

What You’ll DoAs AUVSI’s Senior Sales Manager, you will:
- Drive sales growth across multiple revenue streams, supporting key budget targets and strategic priorities
- Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, outreach, discovery, solution-building, negotiation, and close
- Expand AUVSI’s footprint by leveraging existing relationships and developing new business globally
- Sell across membership, media/advertising, sponsor ships, exhibit space, and subscriptions
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline with accurate forecasting and consistent activity
- Represent AUVSI at select in-person events to develop leads, deepen partnerships, and close business
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to align messaging, strategy, and customer experience
- Use CRM tools (Net Forum and Salesforce) to manage opportunities, accounts, and reporting
- Retain and grow existing accounts through relationship management, renewals, and upselling
- Stay current on industry trends and customer insights to support product growth and innovation
- Bring ideas forward. We want feedback from the front lines that strengthens what we sell
- Bachelor’s degree in sales, business, marketing, or related field
- 5–8 years of proven success in B2B sales, including full-cycle selling
- Strong communication skills and comfort engaging everyone from coordinators to C-suite leaders
- A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding goals and revenue targets
- The ability to quickly understand customer needs and recommend the right solutions
- Comfort selling a broad portfolio (and adapting as products evolve year to year)
- Strong organization skills and a proactive, high-ownership approach to your work
- Working knowledge of uncrewed systems, autonomy, and robotics (commercial and/or defense is a plus)
- CRM proficiency and comfort working across multiple tools and dashboards
- Confidence selling primarily through phone/email, with occasional in-person meetings

- Hybrid role based in Arlington, VA
- Base salary + commission
- Travel up to 20%
This role includes typical office and event-related activities such as sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
