Position: Homes.com Field Sales Account Executive - Arlington, VA

Position Overview

We are looking for an energetic Field Sales Account Executive, who can thrive in a fast-paced sales environment, to help us increase sales and address customer needs within a specific territory. You will act as the key link between the  sales team and real estate agents as you aim to generate excitement and interest around the  products. As a Field Sales Account Executive, your goal is to increase the visibility and awareness of the  membership product and maximize sales growth.

Responsibilities
  • Engage with real estate agents via in-office meetings, trade shows, and local industry events with an outgoing and professional manner to answer questions, provide product information, and demonstrate products
  • Generate excitement and interest in the  products, develop effective customer relationships to ensure customer loyalty and repeat business
  • Provide product information and deliver educational material, complete demonstrations of the product and benefits of becoming a  member
  • Build a pipeline of business, repeat opportunities
  • Accurately forecast weekly, monthly sales pipeline
  • Make sales and technical presentations to potential customers, via both on‑site presentations and web presentations, as required
  • Report to Sales Manager with sales progress and pipeline
  • Attend sales meetings, conference calls and training sessions to stay abreast of new product features and benefits and implement brand strategies to ensure a consistent marketing message
  • Build positive trusting relationships with real estate agents to influence the close of sales deals
  • Travel up to 90%

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited, not‑for‑profit University or College OR commensurate experience as a full time Residential Real Estate Agent and High School Diploma
  • 3+ years’ experience in customer service or client‑facing roles, preferably in a sales or account management environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software (e.g., Web Enterprise, Salesforce, Hub Spot)
  • Ability to work well in a team‑oriented environment, as well as independently
  • Candidates must possess a current and valid driver’s license
  • Satisfactory completion of a Driving Record/Driving Abstract check prior to start

  • Knowledge of the real estate industry

  • Effective internal relationship building skills (superiors, peers, teams, company‑wide) and externally (sales channels, customers, etc.)
