Le Storie Wines is an importing and distribution company based in Richmond, VA. We operate in Virginia, Washington DC, and Maryland.
Our portfolio is built around small, family-owned farms that practice Organic, Biodynamic, and/or Sustainable farming. We recently acquired another importing and distribution company, RWK Imports, and their producers. We have one of the best portfolios of any small to medium sized company in the Mid-Atlantic and are consistently recognized for our high levels of service and professionalism by the top accounts in our markets.
PositionSummary
We are currently seeking one very special person to join our team and grow the Northern VA/DC market. The ideal applicant will have sales experience and existing relationships in their market and a very strong knowledge of Italian wines, French wines, wines from Oregon and California, and wine making as well as a true desire to continue to learn.

JobFunctions
- Achieve assigned sales targets
- Complete required reports on time
- Independently manage accounts within a given territory to retain existing relationships and grow business within those accounts
- Prospect for new accounts
- Create sales materials and tasting notes for customers upon request
- Work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment
- Maintain a flexible work schedule to meet the needs of your customer base
- Be willing to work evening and weekend public tasting events
- Travel to visit wineries in the US and other countries
- Highly self-motivated
- Preferred 2-5 years sales and/or wine experience (candidates with a current base of wine retail / restaurant customers will receive priority)
- Ability to travel as required
- Possess a vehicle that is reliable for transportation to each of the accounts
- Possess a valid Driver's license and criminal record that is free of any alcohol related charges in the past 10 years
This is a full-time, salaried position. We offer paid time off, participation in our group insurance policy, 401K and performance bonuses. The ability to participate in annual travel to visit the wineries is a must. Base Salary Range $55, Salary + Commission DOE and Market.
