Responsibilities
  • A self-starter to proactively pick up and progress the full sales cycle from initial inquiry to closure. Engage with space and satellite customers who are reinventing their space missions and business operations through cloud adoption; focus on increasing awareness and adoption of AWS.
  • Meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute against comprehensive account and territory plans.
  • Coordinate activities of the extended team in support of account/territory plans.
  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
  • Accelerate customer adoption.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and execute operational aspects of account management.
  • Work with partners to extend reach and drive adoption.
  • Manage contract negotiations.
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience developing detailed go-to-market plans.
  • Experience with government procurement and contracting process.
  • Space industry knowledge or experience preferred but not required.
