Summary

The Opportunity

Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks a dynamic and results-oriented Regional Director of Sales, Meetings & Events to lead commercial performance within a key region supporting Amstar’s Meetings & Events business. In this role, you will be responsible for executing global sales strategy at the regional level, driving revenue growth, and leading high-performing sales teams.

You will act as the critical link between corporate strategy and in-market execution, ensuring strong pipeline development, effective RFP conversion, and consistent delivery of revenue and profitability targets. This is a high-impact role with direct influence on regional performance and client relationships.

The Role

As Regional Director of Sales, Meetings & Events, you will:

Execute the global M&E commercial strategy within your assigned region

Drive revenue performance, profitability, and market share growth

Lead and develop Sales Managers and regional sales teams, ensuring strong performance and accountability

Manage pipeline development, RFP processes, conversion rates, and pricing discipline

Develop and maintain accurate regional forecasts aligned with corporate objectives

Build and strengthen relationships with key clients, agencies, and partners

Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Product teams to ensure alignment between sales and service delivery

Ensure adoption of commercial tools, systems, and best practices across all destinations

Monitor performance through KPIs and provide insights and corrective actions as needed

Represent Amstar in client engagements, site inspections, and industry events

Qualifications

Experience

Required:

5+ years of experience in Meetings & Events, hospitality, or related sales roles

Proven track record in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets

Experience managing sales teams and regional performance

Experience Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field

Experience in multi-destination or regional roles

Professional certifications (CMP, DCMP, or similar)
