Job Summary
AWS WWPS Gov Tech sales team is hiring an Account Manager to lead transformative deals and redefine how Gov Techs innovate with cloud and Agentic AI. Bring your passion for building businesses, your operational excellence, and deep industry insights to help our customers accelerate their digital transformations at scale.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain trusted relationships with assigned Gov Tech accounts. Foster partnerships anchored on customer obsession, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams (Business Development, Solutions Architecture, Partner Organization, Marketing, Customer Success) to solve customers’ most complex business and technical challenges.
- Use data and metrics to manage pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and sales productivity.
- Identify transformational opportunities, de‑risk execution, and replicate success through scalable plays and mechanisms.
- Accelerate customer adoption and develop long‑term relationships with key accounts.
- 3+ years of full sales cycle, technology sales or equivalent business development experience.
- Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders.
- Experience in cloud, infrastructure, data, analytics, and AI/ML with ability to translate technology into strategic business outcomes.
- Experience delivering results for large, cross‑functional initiatives or projects.
- Experience working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage.
- Experience personally closing large complex deals end‑to‑end.

CompensationThe base salary range for this position is 92,400. USD annually. The compensation package will include sign‑on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
