JOB SUMMARY

Andy Frain Services is looking for a highly motivated, multi-task-oriented individual to manage a security contract. The Manager will oversee the accountability of all supervisors and staff for assigned accounts, ensuring full responsibility for performance, service, and budget. They will maintain a safe environment for employees, vendors, and personnel, support all security needs, and serve as an integral part of facility operations.

The Manager will establish working relationships with local police and fire departments and other stakeholders, demonstrate and uphold Andy Frain Services core values and operating principles, maintain 100% compliance with staff training, and maintain a professional image with strong leadership skills.

  • The delivery of quality service and positive interaction with customers is critical to the completion of all tasks within this job description. The Manager must greet all visitors, vendors, and employees, while continuously maintaining standards of excellence in presentation and professionalism – a requirement of staff.
  • Provide lead direction at assigned client site(s); enforce security/safety programs and ensure that post orders are followed, established rounds completed, and adequate reports and logs filed daily and weekly.
  • Develop and implement security procedures and ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal laws. Maintain knowledge of all emergency policies, procedures, and regulations; respond immediately to emergency alarms or calls for help, determine course of action, notify appropriate authorities, and assist as needed.
  • Knowledge of life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV system computers. Staff is to ensure the continuous and safe operation of all elevators and access doors is critical. Maintain contact with authorized personnel/contractors responsible for maintenance and upkeep of these devices.
  • Equipment operation will include use of portable radios, telephones, copy and fax machines, computers and tools. This includes daily inspection of all vehicles assigned to the job site and noting any damages to allow immediate repairs.
  • Counsel and discipline personnel as appropriate; seek advice from company management or designated representatives; meet personally with employees to document counseling and disciplinary actions.
  • Assist in training Security Officers and Shift Lead Officers, and review post orders to ensure Guards have competent knowledge of assignments.
  • Communicate with Operations manager daily and weekly regarding account performance and Security Officer performance. Discuss security and safety issues and changes that need implementation.
  • Assist in the submission of payroll and personnel information to the company as designated.
  • In conjunction with company management or designated representatives act to ensure adequate security coverage of all posts.
