About the Role

Redhorse transforms the way government uses data and technology. To support our most sensitive missions, we are seeking a Contract Security Officer (CSO) with aFull Scope Poly (FSP) clearance. This role is vital to Redhorse’s mission, serving as the backbone of our industrial security program and ensuring our people and facilities meet the highest standards of national security. You will be the primary liaison between Redhorse and the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), directly enabling our teams to deliver innovative digital solutions in the most secure environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain the organization’s industrial security program in compliance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and the NISPOM Rule (32 CFR Part 117) and other applicable federal security regulations.
  • Maintain the organization’s Facility Security Clearance (FCL) and ensure continuous inspection readiness for Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Security Vulnerability Assessments (SVAs).
  • Serve as the primary liaison with DCSA Industrial Security Representatives (ISRs), government program security officers, and external partners on security compliance matters.
  • Manage personnel security actions including clearance processing, visit requests, and incident reporting through the Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
  • Coordinate and support personnel security onboarding activities including NBIS/e‑QIP submissions, Public Trust investigations, and related documentation in accordance with federal agency requirements.
  • Conduct initial security briefings, debriefings, annual refresher briefings, and foreign travel briefings for cleared personnel.
  • Administer the organization’s Security Education, Training, and Awareness (SETA) program and provide ongoing security awareness training.
  • Oversee safeguarding and handling procedures for classified information and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in accordance with federal regulations and contract requirements.
  • Monitor and manage classified storage areas, secure work spaces, and access control procedures to ensure compliance with NISPOM safeguarding requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage classified visit requests, secure meetings, and classified site visits with government and contractor personnel.
  • Review and administer contract security requirements, including preparation and management of DD254s, subcontractor security coordination, and contract security documentation.
  • Maintain and update required security documentation including security plans, system security documentation, and RMF/ATO‑related artifacts as applicable.
  • Conduct annual self‑inspections and internal compliance reviews to ensure adherence to NISPOM and company security policies.
  • Support or administer the organization’s Insider Threat Program (ITP) in coordination with leadership, HR, and IT security personnel.
  • Report and document security incidents, suspicious contacts, adverse information, and potential security violations in accordance with NISPOM reporting requirements.
  • Maintain accurate security records, databases, and compliance documentation to support audits, inspections, and contract requirements.
  • Collaborate with ISSM/ISSO personnel, HR, legal, program management, and contract managers to ensure integrated security compliance across programs.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with internal teams, government representatives, subcontractors, and teaming partners.
  • Perform additional administrative and security‑related duties as required to support classified and controlled program operations.
