Security Specialist to join the F-35 JPO program in Arlington, VA.

The F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) supports development, acquisition, fielding, modernization, and sustainment of the F-35 joint strike fighter. The F-35 JPO Security Directorate provides full spectrum multi-disciplined security support to protect F-35 technology and information across its enterprise and throughout the acquisition and sustainment lifecycle.
The role of the Security Specialist-PHYSEC is to support management of physical security, to include active and passive measures, designed to prevent the unauthorized access to personnel, equipment, installations, materials, and information; and to safeguard them against espionage, sabotage, terrorism, damage, and criminal activity. Areas also include Visitor Control Support and Secure Facility Construction Support.
Required Qualifications- Master’s degree and 10+ years experience in the Physical security arena OR Bachelor’s degree and 14 YOE
- Physical Security Certification (PSC) within one year of hire

The likely salary range for this position is $111,155 - $150,385. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
