Position: Junior All Source Intelligence Analyst (TPOS)

Junior All Source Intelligence Analyst (TPOS)

Full time.

Responsibilities
  • Provide counter terrorism all‑source analysis for the Foreign Terrorist Tracking Task Force (FTTTF), supporting the FBI Counter terrorism Division’s International Terrorism mission.
  • Analyze classified and unclassified databases, advanced automated tools, and other intelligence research tools to conduct bulk data, pattern, and trend analysis.
  • Conduct terrorist risk assessments, identify persons posing threats to national security, and support investigations of terrorism and other national security crimes and threats.
  • Research and evaluate intelligence from a wide range of data sources to produce timely analytical products.
  • Develop concepts of operations and functional requirements for threat processing and analytical initiatives.
  • Utilize technology and data exploitation techniques to provide proactive and reactive analytical support.
  • Conduct strategic research and develop innovative technical and/or analytical solutions to combine terrorist indicators with other data sources.
  • Provide support for analysts producing Intelligence Community reports and briefings.
  • Assist in monitoring and analyzing strategic and operational intelligence information.
Qualifications
  • Current Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.
  • Education/

    Experience:
    • 1 year intelligence analysis experience with a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree.
    • 2 years intelligence analysis experience with specialized training.
    • 3 years military intelligence experience.
  • Validate information in intelligence products containing information and/or data from government and public data sources.
  • Determine credibility, value, significance, and relevance of information from different data sources.
  • Independently conduct detailed analysis to produce timely analytical products.
  • Make recommendations based on analytical research.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated competence working with software applications such as Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other law enforcement and intelligence systems.
  • Background in counter terrorism and/or law enforcement is beneficial.
Education & Experience
  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and zero to two years of related experience. (Specific qualifications are detailed above.)
Physical Demands
  • Normal demands associated with an office environment; ability to work on computer for long periods and communicate by telephone, email, and face‑to‑face. Some travel may be required.
