Overview

CGS is seeking a skilled All-Source Intelligence Analyst – Subject Matter Expert to serve as the right-hand to client and internal leadership, providing subject‑matter expertise in intelligence gathering, analysis, and reporting. This role is responsible for programmatic development, quality control, and mentorship of Intelligence Analysts and GSOC Operators. In this role, you will also ensure intelligence products are actionable, accurate, and aligned with client needs while maintaining situational awareness across operational areas.

Responsibilities
  • Research, develop, and present intelligence products at the operational level for senior leaders, commanders, and staff.
  • Perform all‑source intelligence analysis and production, and interface with Combatant Command and Intelligence Community counterparts to ensure maximum collaboration and situational awareness to accomplish Special Operations Forces (SOF) unique operational and tactical level intelligence requirements.
  • Possess knowledge at the tactical and operational levels and be capable of performing all‑source analytic support to Counter terrorism/Violent Extremist Organizations (CT/VEO), Integrated Deterrence, Tactical Combat Operations (TCO), Security Impact Analysis (SIA), Counter Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD), and crisis response operations and missions.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in proven analytic techniques, current analytic tools, and production of high‑quality comprehensive technical/non‑technical intelligence products (assessments, finished intelligence products, papers, presentations) and the proven ability to prepare and present formal or informal briefings.
  • May be required to serve as the USSOCOM representative during non‑duty hours and support 24/7 rotational shift hours.
  • Maintain global readiness and be available to deploy on a no‑notice basis to hazardous duty/combat zones.
  • Enforce requirements, focusing the team of intelligence analysts.
  • Ensure quality control of products.
  • Provide strong organizational skills and administrative oversight.
  • Direct the analytical team in identifying trends and information of value within data‑at‑rest to drive reporting and production to alert decision‑makers of new developments to meet specific customer requirements.
  • Interface with other intelligence organizations to fully prepare teams for exploitation of enemy personnel and prepare post‑screening analytical products and assessments supporting targeting efforts and threat analysis.
  • Assist in directing requirements and ensuring quality control of products.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of eight (8) or more years of all‑source intelligence analyst experience at the full performance level, with 5 or more years working for or with USSOCOM SOF or national level intelligence agencies, such as NSA, CIA, or DIA.
  • At least three (3) years of experience and knowledge in intelligence support to special operations.
  • Superior proficiency, knowledge, understanding, and experience with current all‑source analytical techniques, theory, methodologies, processes, and trends.
  • Demonstrated superior proficiency and knowledge of the current suite of all‑source intelligence tools.
  • 3 or more years of experience writing formal, finished intelligence assessments (e.g., white papers, targeting packages, or other serialized finished intelligence products).
  • Demonstrates experience preparing and delivering intelligence briefings at the Colonel (O-6) / GS-15 level or higher.
  • Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance.
