The United States Space Force (USSF) at the Pentagon is searching for a Branch Chief for Physical Security to support S2X (GS-14/15 Equivalent). In this role, you will be responsible for leading the team that oversees all USSF physical security requirements for Headquarters Space Force.

Skills and Abilities:

• Expert knowledge of conducting periodic security reviews, inspections and other security oversight actions to ensure contractor compliance with physical security regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, and/or other security agreements.
• Advanced and in-depth knowledge of the evaluation of physical security requirements in PWS, DD254s, and other authoritative documents such that the Chief, Physical Security needs minimal oversight to decide the security baseline.
• Advanced and in-depth knowledge of policy, processes, and procedures related to physical security and strategic planning activities needed to execute compliant projects and/or studies within established time constraints.
• Skill in working with customers to assess needs, provide assistance, resolve problems, and satisfy expectations.
• Ability to encourage new ideas and innovations; manage human and information resources strategically and build coalitions to achieve common goals.
• Ability to persuade others to accept recommendations, work toward an agreement, and negotiate mutually acceptable solutions.
