Security Guard

Securitas is seeking a professional Security Guard to protect a high-priority data center. In this on-site role, you will control access, verify credentials, and monitor CCTV, alarms, and access control systems. You will conduct interior and exterior patrols, identify and report security or safety risks, and respond to incidents and emergencies following established post orders. The position requires detailed report writing, strong customer service, clear communication with clients and team members, and strict adherence to security, safety, and confidentiality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Control access to the data center, verifying credentials and logging visitors, contractors, and deliveries
• Conduct interior and exterior security patrols to identify safety or security risks
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and access control systems, escalating issues per protocol
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, following post orders and client procedures
• Complete accurate incident, activity, and shift reports in a timely manner
• Communicate clearly with clients, team members, and dispatch regarding security issues
• Enforce site security policies and procedures while providing professional customer service
• Support safety protocols, including fire, evacuation, and emergency response drills
• Operate security technology and radios in accordance with company standards
• Participate in required training and maintain required licenses and certifications
