Job DescriptionSecurity Office Support (PERSEC/INFOSEC) needed for a contract opportunity to work onsite with SOC's client in Arlington, VA
Contract length: 1 year
Active Secret Clearance Required
Responsibilities:
- Supporting security risk-management activities
- Processing system-access requests through Army systems
- Submitting PSIP requests for new investigations, clearance upgrades and continuous vetting
- Supporting secure-work-environment INFOSEC requirements; assisting with security incidents and infractions
- Supporting classification reviews
- Drafting SOPs, policies and military memorandums
- Defining security requirements for classified activities
- Maintaining security information in DISS, NISS and NIST databases
- Requesting courier card
- Supporting clearance processing, document control and personnel-security functions
Qualifications:
- Experience supportingPERSEC and INFOSEC General Intelligence Security Programs and providing risk-management/security services to the Army.
- Experience with SAARssupporting AESIP, ICAM, GFEBS and AMPS.
- Experience submittingPSIPforms for new clearance requirements, upgrades and continuous vetting for AGR, ADOS and civilian personnel.
- Experience supporting INFOSEC requirements associated with access to and oversight of secure work environments.
- Army or Army National Guard INFOSEC experience, including interaction with senior leadership.
- Experience with Security Classification Guides (SCG), DoD CUI Registry and DTICfor classification reviews.
- Security incident/infraction response and resolution.
- Experience drafting securitySOPs, policies and military Memorandums of Record.
- Experience defining security requirements for classified briefings, training, meetings and conferences.
- Experience with DISS, NISS and NIST databases.
- Experience requesting courier cards.
- Knowledge of clearance processing, document control, personnel security and Automated Information System Security.
- Secret clearance.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- No minimum years of experience stated.
- No college degree required.
- No required professional/technical certifications stated.
- Nice to have:
AGR experience, specifically familiarity with the National Guard environment.
