Travel: required throughout VA, DC, MD
Pay Range: $20.00/hr–$25.00/hr (based on experience)

We are seeking experienced Geotechnical Skilled Laborers to join our Geotechnical Group across VA and the Mid‑Atlantic. The position focuses on earthwork, foundations, auger cast, drilling, concrete, pump operation, welding, and small tool operation. Work is performed outdoors year‑round in wet, muddy, cold, hot, and humid conditions. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively and work well with others.

• Carry, load, or unload materials
• Dig with picks, shovels, air hammers, jack hammers, or other construction equipment as required
• Arrive at the project site on time and participate in job discussions and daily safety meetings
• Operate concrete pump safely
• Maintain construction equipment such as grout machines, drilling machines, and compressors when needed
• Work with hoses for all types of machines on the job site
• Ensure personal and others’ safety; wear proper PPE as directed

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (required)
• Construction experience, preferably concrete or ground stabilization, with small equipment operation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Lift up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level and 30 pounds above shoulder level throughout the shift
• Continuous standing and walking during the scheduled shift
• Climb ladders and work at heights up to 150 feet
• Perform bending, squatting, kneeling, and crawling
• Execute simple grasping and fine manipulation tasks with both hands
• Work in uneven surfaces and confined spaces; reach, lift, and perform work above shoulder height
• Maintain acceptable corrected vision and hearing in both eyes
• Work outdoors in wet, muddy, cold, hot, and humid weather
