Technician Assistant (+25$/hr)

Job Description:

As a Technician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in installing and repairing batteries, chargers, cable trays, battery racks, and power cables. You will be responsible for preparing materials and equipment for each job, loading and unloading trucks, and placing batteries on racks or trays. Your work will contribute to seamless operations and efficient service delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and maintain flooded and sealed batteries, chargers, cable trays, battery racks, and power cables.
  • Prepare materials and equipment required for each job assignment.
  • Load and unload trucks, and haul and hoist materials.
  • Place batteries on racks or trays.
  • Install battery cables and hardware.
Essential Skills
  • Willingness to travel to job sites, do overnight travel, and work nights and weekends as needed.
  • Flexibility in scheduling for travel with short notice (NOVA-PA).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and inclination.
  • Electrical and mechanical skills.
  • Ability to lift 100+ pounds.
  • Experience with hand tools and blueprints.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment is preferred.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 – $25.00/hr.
