Role: Residential Maintenance Technician

Location: Arlington, VA

Pay: $28 - $33 / hour DOE

As a Residential Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for helping maintain a high‑end multifamily property while ensuring residents receive prompt, professional service.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Responding to and completing resident service requests in a timely manner
  • Performing preventative maintenance and routine inspections
  • Troubleshooting and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting issues
  • Assisting with apartment turnovers and renovation projects
  • Supporting the overall upkeep, safety, and appearance of the property
  • Collaborating with the Lead Engineer and property team to ensure operational excellence
Experience Required
  • 3–5 years of maintenance, engineering, or building systems experience
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and safely move appliances and equipment
  • Comfortable working at heights up to 25 feet
  • Experience in multifamily housing, hospitality, or commercial properties is preferred but not required
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems, think critically, and work independently

    The community operates 24/7. Occasional weekends, on-call responsibilities, or overnight hours may be required.
