Position OverviewOur client is seeking experienced Mobile Engineers to support critical Verizon facilities in Arlington, VA. This role is responsible for providing hands‑on HVAC and building maintenance support across multiple sites within an assigned territory. The Mobile Engineer serves as the first responder for their buildings and plays a critical role in maintaining uptime at mission‑critical facilities.

- Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) and corrective repairs on HVAC systems
- Troubleshoot and respond to HVAC failures and emergency service calls
- Plumbing
- Electrical and lighting
- Hardware and minor repairs
- Hot/cold calls
- Utilize Building Management Systems (BMS) to monitor and manage building performance
- Serve as the primary technician for assigned buildings (typically 8–10 sites)
- Coordinate with vendors as needed and complete work in‑house when possible
- Maintain accurate documentation and service tickets
- Participate in after‑hours emergency response as required
- Mix of HVAC and general building maintenance
- Experience with:
- Rooftop units
- Split systems
- More sites with smaller footprints (8-10 sites)
- After‑hours and weekend emergency response as needed
- Overtime for after‑hours work
- Double time for Sundays and holidays
- Hourly rate set by Local 10 union agreement
- Position is governed by Local 10
- Union benefits begin after required hours are met (approximately 3 months)
- Candidates not currently in Local 10 must join upon hire

Tools & Equipment- Company‑provided take‑home work van
- All fuel, maintenance, and tools covered

- 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC and building maintenance
- Ability to work independently across multiple locations
- Working knowledge of BMS systems preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Willingness to respond to emergency calls as needed
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Mobile or multi‑site experience preferred (static engineers welcome)
- Strong onboarding and mentorship (2–3 months)
