Journeyman Electrician Opportunity
Skillforce has teamed up with a leading electrical contractor to find skilled Journeyman Electricians to work on their infrastructure projects. These projects include railways, airports, highways and utilities.
This is a full-time, direct hire position working on projects in the DMV area.
Journeyman Electrician Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $50-$60/hr
- Background check, drug screen, and MVR required
- Healthcare, pension, etc.
- Bonus potential
Journeyman Electrician Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical construction and installation activities on transportation and industrial projects.
- Install conduit, cabling and wiring, power distribution systems including switch gear, transformers, control panels, etc.
- Enforce company safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific safety requirements.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control throughout all phases of construction.
Journeyman Electrician Qualifications
- Must be willing to join the union
- 6+ years of electrical experience
- Electrical license
- Wastewater treatment plant experience
- Valid driver's license and clean MVR required
