- Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs to buildings and facilities at Fort Myer, Virginia and Fort McNair, Washington, D.C.;
Respond to maintenance repair service calls for malfunctioning/domestic equipment such as HVAC, kitchen/domestic, plumbing, utility, supply and disposal systems;
Plan and lay out work for estimates for materials and equipment for maintenance repairs;
Operate a van-type truck (up to one ton) to transport tools, materials, equipment and self to work site;
Ensure compliance with CFC (40 CFR 82) certification for HVAC refrigeration and related equipment maintenance
